Custom grown pullets

Ready to start your own flock?

Many families are learning about the benefits of having a small flock of backyard chickens.  There is, truly, nothing like your own, fresh eggs, and chickens have amazingly entertaining personalities to boot.

Three common challenges backyard flocks often face are:
  • What to do with any chicks that turn out to be males
  • What to do if you want a custom number of birds, like perhaps you only need 3 new layers
  • How to brood a small set of chicks, making sure their specialized heating, caging, and feed are taken care of

We're here to help!

We have been working with families for many years to:
  • Helping you select the breed(s) that are ideal for your goals
  • Make sure your birds are off to a great start, by buying only from NPIP disease-free flocks.
  • Custom growing your chicks to laying age (about 16 weeks) for just $16/bird
  • Giving your birds a great start in human interactions and time out foraging.  We feed the chicks by hand each day, and have them out on pasture (with supplemental heat in a brooder house) at about 1 week old

Summer 2021 - Special Offer!

Are you ready to start your flock RIGHT NOW?  We have you covered!  Select your choice of up to four from our Easter Eggers, nearly ready to lay, for just $18/bird.  Select all four for only $70.00!  These birds are healthy, from a NPIP certified hatchery, raised right here on our pastures, and ready to start laying eggs for your family this fall.  We even have a Blue Plymouth Rock cockerel available, if you would like to start raising your own homestead chicks!  Contact us today for information or if you are ready to add to your family flock.
