Goat Dairy & Creamery

At Sirocco Ridge Farm, we believe in the importance of humane, sustainable, vegetarian goat dairy. We produce goat milk, a variety of goat cheeses, and a growing number of gelato flavors to vendors and partners in Indiana, Kentucky, and beyond.

Sirocco Ridge Farms Goat Cheeses

The Big Softy

A triangle of big softy goat cheese
A crème fraiche-inspired fresh cheese designed for pure decadence.
Texture: Silky, smooth, and ultra-fresh—so fresh the whey may still be seeping.
Flavor Profile: Mild, sweet, and buttery with a rich, decadent finish.
Best For: Spreading on morning bagels, stuffing into savory meats or tortillas, or topping with gourmet salts and olives.

Note: This is a 100% vegetarian cheese, crafted with vegetable rennet for a clean, versatile base that works equally well for sweet or savory dishes.

Caprini Legacy Feta

Crumbled goat cheese feta
A heritage-style feta with a creamy soul and a sophisticated, complex flavor.

Flavor Profile: Refreshingly less salty than traditional fetas, allowing the complex, milky notes to shine.
Best For: Mediterranean dishes, grilled as a savory appetizer, or sliced onto a fresh watermelon and mint platter.

Note: Part of our "Caprini Legacy" series, this recipe is a tribute to the artistry of Caprini Creamery, bringing a legendary local favorite to your table.

Lamancha Goat Gouda

Wax-aged goat gouda
A wax-aged masterpiece that balances mild sweetness with a sophisticated, nutty finish.
Texture: Smooth and creamy when young; develops a delightful "crumbly" character as it matures.
Flavor Profile: Mild and buttery at 60 days, evolving into a rich, complex flavor that lingers on the palate.
Best For: Slicing for charcuterie, melting into a gourmet grilled cheese, or pairing with crisp apples and honey.

Lamancha Goats

Picture
Lamancha goats are the preferred goat breed at Sirocco Ridge. We value the Lamancha for their high milk production – and spunky attitudes.
We grow our Lamancha dairy goat herd with these values:
  • The healthiest, longest living, and most productive animals we can breed
  • Balance quality milk production and good conformation
  • Humanely raising all our animals and providing a low-stress lifestyle

Lamancha Goats for Sale

Each year, we offer doelings and bucklings for sale from our herd. Our lamancha goat kids are bred for optimal health, dairy production, and lifespan with CAE-free kid raising practices. All goats are disbudded, and the herd is tested yearly for CAE, CL, and Johnes – and all animals are negative.

    • $319.00 (1 to 4 weeks old)
